Because of Who You are

from Reflections by Grandma's Farm

/

lyrics

There's a river flowing through this place
that carries us away
into the sea of God's redeeming grace.
There's a Spirit blowing through our days
Who whispers "Peace, be still"
reminding us of Who we praise.

You, o lord, are God and God alone.
Boldly now we come before Your throne.
Light of the world, bright and morning star
Lord we worship You because of Who You are.

There's a reason that stands behind the rhyme
that teaches us to know
there is more to life than space and time.
There's a hunger awakening desire
that is only satisfied
in the warmth of God's own holy fire.

You, o lord, are God and God alone.
Boldly now we come before Your throne.
Light of the world, bright and morning star
Lord we worship You because of Who You are.

Redeemer, Savior, Friend of man
once ruined by the fall.
He has devised salvation's plan
and He died for all.
His name shall be the Counselor,
the mighty Prince of Peace
Who's reign shall never cease.

You, o lord, are God and God alone.
Boldly now we come before Your throne.
Light of the world, bright and morning star
Lord we worship You because of Who You are.
