If we could run we'd run to You
Lord, You can make the dream come true
Help us remember what we knew
We need Your grace...we need Your grace!

A gift can be great
but giving it is greater
Love can be late
why do we wait for later?

We can't always understand
how it fits into Your plan
Help us, Lord, do what we can
as we hold on to Your hand

All that we see can seem so vast
but things of this world, they do not last
All of the future and the past
belongs to Jesus

If we could fly we'd fly away
nothing on earth could make us stay
but until then we'll watch and pray
